Description
The Content Directory provides visibility into workspaces but lacks basic administrative controls needed to manage them at scale. Admins cannot rename or fully delete workspaces directly from the directory and must instead enter each workspace to make simple changes.
This creates friction during reorgs, team consolidations, name changes, or ownership shifts, where workspace names need to reflect new organizational structures even if the content itself remains valid. It also leads to clutter from expired, sandbox, or trial workspaces that remain visible despite no longer being relevant or accessible.
As a result, the Content Directory can become outdated, confusing, and misaligned with the current organization, while requiring excessive admin effort for routine maintenance.
What are you trying to achieve
Enable admins to keep the Content Directory accurate and aligned with the current organizational reality by allowing workspace renaming and deletion directly from the directory. This improves governance, reduces administrative overhead, and ensures the directory remains a clean, reliable source of truth in large enterprise environments.
