When I created my Copilot Agent, I was able to connect with my own Monday account but when I published the agent and tried to share it with other people, who should theoretically have the same access to Monday as me, they get the error below. Has anyone encountered this before? Does it have to do with users not having Copilot premium because I have it but they don’t?
Hello @tm_monday This usually isn’t a Copilot seat issue. It’s almost always permissions or OAuth.
When you connect monday to a Copilot Agent, that connection is tied to the person who authorized it. Anyone else using the agent still has to log in with their own monday account and have access to the same boards and workspaces. If they don’t, you’ll see errors like “Create and authorize OAuth connection failed.”
I’d double check:
• They’re logging into the right monday account
• They can actually see the same boards/workspaces
• The app is allowed for their user role
• SSO or security rules aren’t blocking them
Copilot Premium usually isn’t required unless your setup restricts usage by plan.
