Mirroring mirrored date columns

We have a specific date column on project boards that is very important (Kickoff Date). We mirror this column up to a medium-level board that lists all projects owned by that PM, then mirror those items up to a high-level board that lists all projects owned by all PMs.

We’re running into an issue where the Kickoff Date can be mirrored up to the mid-level board fine, but we can’t mirror that date further up to the high-level board. This is a crucial date for us to work with, any ideas how we can best get this to work? I’ve tried using a formula to just “get” the date from the Mirror column and set another column to be equal to it, but you can’t use lookup columns in formulas so that didn’t work.

Any ideas?

There should be no problem mirroring your mirrored date on the mid-level board up to the high-level board directly. What difficulty are you running into exactly?

I simply get a message “This level of mirroring is not supported.” Not sure why! Thanks for taking a look!

@nic.bonzani

Mirroring only works up to 2 levels deep (3 boards). You can mirror a mirror. But you cannot mirror a mirror of a mirror (or deeper). If you can remove one of the levels, it should work.

This is actually only 2 levels deep, you can see from the screenshot that other fields are fine to mirror it’s JUST the kickoff date one!

So, the source for Kickoff Date and Project Start Date is the same?

If they are, I recommend contacting monday support.
