Good Afternoon,

Monday.com allowed me to drag a word document and image into a Monday.com Doc, please see accompanying attachment. However, when i go to attach a PDF to the Doc it doesn’t load and save to the doc.

Are PDFs attachments not supported in Docs?

Hello JDAY,

Short answer: PDFs are supported in monday workdocs as file attachments, but they don’t render inline inside the doc.

What you can try:

  • Attach a PDF by dragging it into the doc or using the + menu (or /file) to add a File block. You can then click it to preview or download.

  • If you need an inline, scrollable preview inside the doc, embed it from a cloud service (e.g., Google Drive, OneDrive, Box) using an Embed block and a public/viewable link.

If a PDF won’t upload or preview:

  • Try another browser (Chrome/Edge), check file size limits, and avoid password‑protected PDFs.
