Hi, I use Monday.com to manage my customers at my business, we used a Status column to manage which “stage” the customer is at, such as: New Lead, Current Customer and Lost Customer.
I would like to know if it is possible to create a board that not shows me how many customers I have lost per month.
I know I can create a dashboard to show how many customers I have at each stage, however this would entail a board that can see when a status changed from “current customer” to “lost customer”.
Absolutely. Can you provide me with some more details on the questions below.
Are you currently using one board to manage the won and lost customers? Or do you have one board that has all current customers and another board for all lost customers?
Do you want to track WHEN (date) you lost the customer? If so, do you have an automation built in like “When status changes to lost customer then set date to today.”
HI Kate, Thank you! this is a nice work-around to get what I need.
However, I think this would only work moving forward, is there a automatic way if filling out the date for the ones I have lost in the past, or would it have to be done manually?
Unfortunately, it would be manual as far as I know. I just had to do this recently myself. It isn’t too bad as you can look at the activity log within the item and find the date the status changed.
Totally possible! What you need is a way to track the moment a customer’s status changes to Lost Customer and log that with a date. Monday.com doesn’t do this natively out-of-the-box.
When Status changes to Lost Customer → set Date column to current date.
Then create a new board or connected view that pulls in these entries and groups/counts them by month using a chart or number widget.
Optionally, we can enhance this with Make.com to log more detailed status history or send data to Google Sheets for custom reporting
This way, you get a clear monthly trend of customer drop-offs—and can act on it fast!
