Even though the multi-level item board is cool, there’s a limitation. I want to have seperate columns for my parent item and my sub items. I’d like the parent item to be a high level overview of the task, and then go into detail in the sub items (hence have different columns). For normal boards, we were able to have this, but for some reason in the multi-level board it isn’t there. There should be an option on whether you want to copy parent columns or change it
Hey, not sure I understand fully, is this the new functionality just released with multi levels of subitems? Perhaps it would need two views to achieve what your looking a top level and full sub level view? Can you still use the mirror column roll up to get an idea progress etc?
Samira - 100% Agree! - How did they mess this up so bad! - Since you are locked into the same columns as the parent (or level 0) there is NO benefit at all to this type of “sub” items. Might as well just start a new row.. is the SAME THING! how did this “feature” take 6 years develop? We NEED the traditional subitems (that allows for an entirely unique set of columns on Level 1 and then be able to have a Level 2,3,4 etc. Continually beyond disappointed in this product, support and the nickel and diming.
