On the “My Work” page, I am not seeing a way to sort.
For example: I am selecting “Board View” and my board are not listed by alphabetical order. I don’t see a way to either manually sort or select an alphabetical sort a to z or z to a.
Currently my boards go like this: S, M, P, S, S

At the moment, the My Work page doesn’t give users control over sorting boards in Board View. The order you’re seeing is system generated and can feel pretty random, which is why you’re getting something like S, M, P, S, S instead of a clean A to Z list.
Right now, there’s no way to manually reorder boards or apply an alphabetical sort within My Work itself. That limitation is on monday’s side, not a permissions or settings issue.
There are a few practical workarounds you can use though, depending on how you work:
One option is to rely on Favorites. If you star your most important boards, they’ll appear in a dedicated Favorites section, which at least gives you quick access without scrolling through everything.
Another approach is to standardize board naming conventions. Adding prefixes like numbers or categories can force a more logical order across the platform, even if My Work doesn’t sort alphabetically. For example, 01 Sales, 02 Marketing, 03 Projects.
If your goal is task focused rather than board focused, switching to the Main View in My Work can help. That view is optimized around items and deadlines rather than board order, which often feels more useful day to day.
If alphabetical sorting in Board View is important for your workflow, this is a good candidate for a feature request. It’s a common ask, especially for users managing a large number of boards.

Unfortunately I am not able to put in place your recommendations as we are using boards per clients across several workspaces.
Overall the “my work page lacks customization”.
Can’t export, can rearrange columns, can’t resize columns, can’t sort, can’t collapse all.
