I want to create a number widget that will filter the hours per month and send email alert to subscribers when the number crosses a fixed value. (e.g. If the hours worked crosses 10.5 notify xyz)

While this isn’t possible with your Numbers Widget because automations aren’t supported in the Dashboards, you can set this up via automations in the board this number comes from.
