Nested IF Formula (Calculate Risk Matrix)

Hi team,

I would like to know if monday has the formula checker to check if my formula is working and i found it difficult to create the formula without the checker tools.

I have some enquiry regarding Nested IF Formula. What is the differences between these formula?

For example:
1st Example:
IF({I. Current Rf} > 14, “Red”,
(IF(AND({I. Current Impact}=5,{I. Current Rf} = 10), “Red”, “Blank”))
2nd Example:
IF({I. Current Rf} > 14, “Red”,
IF(AND({I. Current Impact}=5,{I. Current Rf} = 10), “Red”, “Blank”)

Thanks,
Mikey

@michael3,

The recent improvements in the formula editor have helped considerably. But, no doubt, monday formulas can be tricky. I don’t think either of those will work. Assuming that the column references are correct, try:

IF({I. Current Rf} > 14, "Red", IF(AND({I. Current Impact}=5, {I. Current Rf} = 10), "Red", "Blank"))

Hi @JCorrell ,

I manage to get the formula working after spending a few hours just to check the format. I am not sure if there is external tools that we can use to validate the formula first before paste it into formula text box. I found the text box is too small for complex formula.

Thanks,
