I used to be able to create a new view per owner. It’s been a while since I’ve done this, as I create new views when we have new employees. I thought I did this by filtering by the Owner column. Now when I click on “filter” it tells me I have to sign up for a paid plan to access “Advanced Filters”. Are basic filters no longer included in the free plan, or am I missing something??
Support article shows that those filters are only on the Standard and above plan. Alternatively, you can explore using the “My Work” feature, which provides a personal overview of tasks assigned to you across all boards. https://support.monday.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003624660-The-Board-Filters?utm_source=chatgpt.com
It sounds like you’ve run into monday.com’s updated free plan limitations.
You’re right – Advanced Filters, which include filtering by the “Owner” column to create new views per owner, are no longer available on the free plan. This feature now requires a paid subscription (Standard plan or higher).
Basic filters are still available, primarily through the search bar and simple person filters, but they’re not as robust as what you were used to.
Essentially, the ability to create customized views by filtering specific columns is now a premium feature. If creating views per owner is critical for your workflow, you’d need to consider upgrading to a paid plan.
