Not sure if bug or feature request - code blocks in tickets

In Monday when creating a ticket you can not add blocks of code/formatted text using the backwards tick ` - this is a feature now used across all chats including Facebook, Whatsapp, Telegram, in other project planning tools like Jira and Trello, and other messaging/work apps like Slack, Mattermost, Github, Bitbucket, Atlassian suite etc…

You can add blocks of code via the drop down tool in the Update section of a ticket. But you can not do it in a reply to an Update.

This is all very limiting and I dont get why its only accessible option via a button click in an Update.

Is this a bug or by design? If by design could I make a feature request that all text input boxes follow (what appears to be an internet standard now) of adding blocks of formatted text on a single line using hello world and triple back ticks for blocks of code.

Communication is key across business, and it breaks down if we have to keep uploading and referencing files to show blocks of code for tickets, or if we can never reply to questions with examples of code because it’s not possible.
