Offline Mode on CRM App

Does anyone have tips for using the CRM mobile app in areas with limited service? I have read about offline mode, but we don’t seem to be benefitting from this feature at the moment. I don’t know if I have to set it up/turn it on?

If I am using my app, and go into an area without cell service or Wi-Fi, I can’t get anything to load on my accounts screen. Is there a way to ensure the data is downloaded or cached somewhere so reps can still find accounts if they have limited service?
