On app submission which feature is getting published?

Hi,

I have so many features for my app. On app submission to marketplace, which feature is getting published? Or should I have only 1 feature per app? I am a little bit confused here.

An app can have multiple features. When published, all the features will be published.

I have 1 app and I want it to be installed both in board and workspace view. Then I have to create 2 features, 1 for board view and 1 for workspace view right?

That is correct @apsimos,

You need to create as many features as you want your app to have, all inside your app.

Then when an account installs the app, they will be able to use all of the features.

Yet another question. In here it says each feature should have a unique name and description. This comes me a bit weird. Let’s say I have an app which moves items to Google Drive. I have 2 features that one is a board view and the other one is workspace app. They doing the same thing in different places. How can I put a unique name and description for these features?

What is the best practice here?

Once your app is in the review process, you can take this with the review team so that they can advise on the names of the features :smile:
