The date column works incredibly slow I click on and able to select and have it loaded to the related cell in 15 seconds if I am lucky and it goes up to 45 seconds during differrent times of the day. If this service is not going to provide us a solution to improve our data management, why should we keep using it since time is the thing that matters the most!

It sounds like there might be some strain on your board due to an outdated browser version or too many items on your board.
Can you try clearing the cache/cookies and see if that makes a difference?
