Pulse email not being added to item

When I send out an email with the pulse address in the CC line, it automatically adds that email to the item as an update, like it should. However, when I receive a reply to that email, with the pulse address in the CC line, it does not automatically add it to the item as an update. These reply emails are coming from non-Monday users/guests. Is this just a limitation of Monday.com?

Not so much a a limitation, more of a restriction.

You can get around it… you can use an email address that allows ANY sender to send an update to an item (or create new). Under your user profile:
