Reminders for different people

Hello!

We are stablishing a process in which in every group, the item is assigned to a different person and we have different columns for each person. Is it possible to set a reminder for each one depending on the group rather that just one general reminder?

In Monday there is no easy option for automation around the group for this. As an alternative, you could add a STATUS column, which has values that match each of your groups (eg if your groups are Newsletter and Brochure, have 2 options for the status of Newsletter and Brochure).

Then you can add reminder automations for each… such as
WHEN DATE ARRIVES and ONLY IF STATUS IS NEWSLETTER then NOTIFY JOURNALIST
and
WHEN DATE ARRIVES and ONLY IF STATUS IS BROCHURE then NOTIFY COMMERICAL

To help with the groups/status you can add some automations such as:
WHEN ITEM MOVES TO GROUP NEWLETTER then SET STAUS TO NEWSLETTER
or
WHEN STATUS CHANGES TO NEWSLETETER then MOVE ITEM TO NEWSLETTER

*** MONDAY TEAM - If we use the WHEN STATUS changes options, you have an AND ITEM IS IN A GROUP - why is this not available for other criteria (ie WHEN DATE ARRIVES) !!! It would be really good to improve automation with some more options, then dont have to be complex, examples in CAPS below…
…when date arrives AND ITEM IS IN GROUP I
…when status changes to value AND TEXTCOLUMN (BEGINS WITH or CONTAINS) VALUE
…when date arrive AND PERSON IS NOT EMPTY
…when status changes to somethings AND RATING (>,<,=,<=,>=) VALUE
…when date arrive AND COUNTRY (IS, IS NOT) IN THIS LIST
… when status changes AND DATEFIELD (<,>,<=,>=) x DAYS TIME
