Remove most of the Monday.com branding from shared views

Description

I love the Share View feature and we use it often to embed boards into our other tools. And while I certainly don’t mind a bit of Monday.com advertising to go with it (the footer image is perfect), the large Monday.com logo at the top and ‘Sign Up’ link takes up valuable real estate and can confuse our users who just want to view the board.

It would be incredibly helpful to be able to remove (either totally or via a parameter/setting) the Monday.com header information from the top of the shared view

What are you trying to achieve

Provide end-users who are viewing the board via an embed or link to see the content we want to provide, and our branding… not the Monday.com branding huge at top.

Hi Michael,

You can hide that giant monday.com header without any code. Just head into your admin settings:

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right and choose Administration
  2. Go to CustomizationFeatures
  3. Toggle Show monday.com logos off

That will remove the logo and “Sign Up” link from all embedded or shared board views. If you’d rather show your own branding, use CustomizationBranding to upload a custom icon and email header.

Let me know how it goes!

Hey @mmcc

Just in addition to the already mentioned solution above:

In case you want to get rid of the “classic” board look at all, you might want to check our Board to Website Widget app, which lets you completely customize the look and feel of your shared or embedded board. Plus, you can make files accessible to your users.

+1 to this — we ran into the same issue when embedding boards into client dashboards. The header with Monday branding often distracts or confuses non-technical users who just want to interact with the content we’ve shared.

In our case, we were integrating Monday into a broader lead management flow (we use Phonexa for attribution + call tracking), and clean presentation really mattered. Even a toggle to hide the header would make a big difference for embedded UX.

Hope the team considers adding this — would definitely improve how Monday fits into external-facing workflows.
