I’m reaching out regarding potential expansions to the GraphQL API, specifically concerning board functionalities. Our team at Decadis AG has identified some limitations in the current API that restrict developers from modifying certain board attributes. We’d greatly appreciate consideration for the following feature enhancements:
Ability to change board visibility (private/public)
Modification of board ownership
Updating other general board attributes
Changing board permissions via the API
These modifications are currently not possible through the API, and we believe they would be valuable additions to the platform’s capabilities.
We understand that you consider community input for your development roadmap. Could you please provide any information on whether there are plans to extend the API’s capabilities in these areas?
Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to any updates or feedback on this request.
Hello there @MartinK and thank you for the request!
Regarding your second point, you can add subscribers (as owners) and delete subscribers as explained here. Is your request about a way to change the role of already existing subscribers?
What other board attributes would you like to be able to change via API specifically?
First of all big thx for your continuous support on our monday journey and thank you very much for the hint regarding point 2 thats exactly what we are looking for .
I think your are right i was a bit fuzzy or unclear on what other board attributes i would like to change. What i just wanted to be communicate is like if their are other board related things that can be changed via the internal API ( which i might not know about - at this point of time) it would be great to have a possibility to change them via the public API as well.
To bring things in order based on priority what would be really interesting for us is:
Permissions of boards.
Currently done via this internal API: set_permissions_v2
