Search Everything does not search Custom Keys

We utilize the Item ID - Custom Key feature quite heavily in our organization, and it’s really frustrating that the “Search Everything” feature will not pull back an item based on custom ID. Has anyone else experienced this? I have a couple improvements for that specific column, and have submitted as feature requests but I’m having no luck getting a response. I’m wondering if others are experiencing similar issues?

Improvements I would like to have that other systems can do:

  1. Search Everything - pull back an item based on custom key
  2. The ability to copy the custom key and it paste as the custom key already linked to the ticket.
