Long story short, we created a board 2 years ago and a form for employees to submit sponsorship requests. I cannot find he old board in the archive either. I did find an old flyer with QR code that sends to the form fill.
So the form is still active as it loads, and allows me to submit. I still receive the email notification that a form was filled out and something was submitted. I would like to provide the link to the board where these are captured. However, the link in the email notification reopens the form submittal.
Any idea on how to backtrack a form to what board it is linked to?
Hello @Cmarlow This is how I was able to locate the board.
To find out which board a form is connected to, follow these steps:
-
Open the Form in Your Browser: Access the form URL directly on the web.
-
View the Page Source: Right-click anywhere on the page and select “View Page Source.” This will open the raw HTML version of the form.
-
Search for the Board ID: In the HTML source, use Command + F (Mac) or Ctrl + F (Windows) to open the search bar. Search for “board_id.” You’ll find the Board ID number that the form is linked to.
-
Open the Board in monday.com: Copy the Board ID you found and paste it into your monday.com board URL, like this:
https://<youraccount>.monday.com/boards/<board_id>.
Forgive me if you’ve already tried this, but assuming the board had the word ‘Sponsorship’ in the name - what about using Cmd+B/Ctrl+B to access the quick bolt search and then look boards with the word ‘Sponsorship’ in the title?
