It would be great if there were an icon displayed if the item has a description. And then for a preview of that description on hover.
This would let people know this items are worth opening for further detail, and avoid situations where people miss important detail because they don’t realise there is a description—this is really useful where most items don’t have descriptions, only some.
ClickUp implements this feature really well, like this:
