I would like to see a view of all the columns and their data types via the UI. For example, I want to be able to see all the columns in one of my portfolio objects as well as the data types of those columns (text, date, number, etc). This is possible when using a Form, when you edit a form you can see the “Content” bar to the left that shows columns as well as the icon that indicates their data type.
What are you trying to achieve
There is no way to duplicate a portfolio or create it from a template. Therefore, they must be created manually. I want to keep my portfolios structured the same, so I need to see my other portfolios, their columns, and their data types in order to create new portfolios similarly. This is important for column that appear similar (Status and Label, Text and Long Text). It would be helpful to know what type the column in one single view. I’m not even aware of how to check a column’s data type individually, but I would prefer to be able to view an entire object’s schema in one view.
