Hi I created a managed column for status to make sure every project has the same status choices. However, when I created a new board so that I can see all items that are not “done” I can’t use the managed column to filter, only the original “status” column. Did I mess up?
You’ll need to pull in that column template and not just the normal status column. To do so, choose ‘more columns’ at the bottom , then you’ll see ‘column templates’ on the left.

Managed Columns standardize the options, but you can only filter by the column that actually exists on the board you’re viewing. So if your new board still has the original Status column (or the managed one wasn’t added), the filter will only show what’s on that board.
