I know I’m just one of many here, but I’ve been waiting and hoping for this functionality for years now as well. @zaneta any update?
@zaneta @ivanhong-monday.com any updates on this? This is really affecting us being able to migrate our workflows into Monday. We want to easily see what tasks are being worked on at which time of day so we can plan meetings around the tasks being completed.
Since this is the biggest post on this topic, i’m leaving a +1 for this one. Our clients need this level of detail when managing schedules through monday.com
Still waiting for this feature
Also waiting for this feature.
Any updates/ETA on this feature?
My clients asked me for this option as well.
They’re having trouble creating work schedules for their employees
when they cant enter, and reflect to the team member, the time length for each task/meeting.
When I told them there is no option on Monday to do that
they re-explained to me again & again (“we just want to set a meeting from 08:00-09:30 as an example”) because they couldn’t believe
such a small but meaningful function is not available on a professional startup software in 2022.
I would recommend to merge Date and Time into one column as DateTime. That would greatly simplify your work. You can do something like this:
df[‘DateTime’]=pd.to_datetime(df[‘Date’]+" "+df[‘Time’])
df.groupby(‘Employee’)[‘DateTime’].agg([min, max])
Bumping this again
god I want this in order to more easily use monday to automatically build my weekly schedule
Piling on here. I need to schedule resources and manage events. I need start and end times to be able to do this.
Wow! This is really a basic functionality for any date- and timepicker and its a dealbreaker for us to use any calendar-sync. Seems odd it’s not possible to add this and include that in a daily view. Seems like its actively omitted as all other services like this ofc would include such a detail (which isn’t really a detail).
Might need to look to external solutions to do this then. But should be an obvious basic to include.
Any updates?
It might be a deal breaker regarding my work with Monday…
Hello @TEAMVAERK and @Elad_Muslala,
As of today, there is no way to add a “start time” different than an “end time” for the same date column.
You could have a start date column and an end date column, but they would be separated.
I do not have an ETA on when this could be implemented at the moment but I will add your votes to it
Cheers,
Matias
Thanks Matias, I appreciate the quick and efficient response. Hopefully the “end time” function will be implemented soon…
Have a great day!
Hi @Matias.Monday -
I really hope you do add our votes to it! I’ve been asking for this functionality for 2 years at least and it would make SUCH a difference in how we use Monday.
Thank you,
Jackie
Hi @Matias.Monday
We are getting close to 3 years since this post was added. If there is still no ETA of when this will be implemented, can you at least tell us if “Add end time in date column” is on someones todo list in your office?
Can you tell us how you at the monday-com office deal with meetings or happenings that last more than 30min? Do we have to use google calendar?
Thanks
FYI:
Hello @DenstadConsulting!
This feature is in our teams list for requested features but it looks like it will probably not be implemented soon.
What do you need a meeting for and with whom?
With this information I will have more context to let you know how to ask for that meeting.
Cheers,
Matias
We have work that way, but is not the same…when yo have big boards adding a column sometimes it’s to much and in calendar doesnt help that much, its to open for interpretations.
It would be great we could have the other possibility. It would make our lives easier.
What a bummer to hear this one is not a priority! We have been asking for this one for years as well as it would greatly improve our ability to use Monday. I hope you can help float this to the top because there are no viable workarounds to use the calendar feature with these 30-minute meetings. Please help!
