The company I work for have a stock room we use for events (exhibitions/seminars) that we have added onto Monday.com as its own board.
We also have another board that we use to organise the events themselves, these boards have linked columns so that you can see how much is left of a particular item from the stock board when adding it to be sent to an event on the events board.
My question is would it be possible to have an automation that would remove the ‘quantity required’ amount from the linked ‘quantity in stock’ amount, activating when pressing the ‘check’ column on the items that has just been packed for an event from the stock room. We currently have an automation to alert us to know we are low on a certain item stock, however this would be a massive quality of life improvement if the items did not need manually removing and would subtract from the ‘quantity in stock’ amount when we tick the ‘check’ box.
I’ve been in contact with Monday support previously on this in November last year and there was no solution. Please let me know if there is a solution for this problem!
