Is it possible to add a ‘total’ in the footer for subitems?
Essentially, I have a cost column in each of my subitems and I want to be able to add the total cost of these subitems into the parent summary. I then need to add that summary cost to an overall cost column in the parent.
Yes it’s possible. You have to go to your column from which you want the total coast and then press “summary for upper column”.
then it will show up on the main item like that
Thanks very much. I had initally tried this but it didn’t work - it was because I was also using a £ sign in my column and the parent summary facility only recognises digits. Have found a work around now.
