Swipe-style Notification Cards for Faster Triage

Description

Right now, Monday.com notifications work as a dropdown that forces users to open each update in a new tab. For teams managing large projects (70+ tasks per project, across multiple projects), this quickly turns into a bottleneck:
• You end up with 20–30 tabs open just to catch up on updates.
• The system becomes heavy and sometimes crashes.
• Reviewing and responding to notifications feels slow, chaotic, and inefficient.

The problem isn’t the volume of notifications, but the way they’re delivered. What I’m proposing is a card-style notification interface that works like this:
• Swipe right → mark as read / skip.
• Swipe left → keep it as unread for later.
• Inline view → quickly read the update and comment directly, without opening a new task tab.

This would turn notifications into lightweight, actionable cards, allowing project managers and team members to triage updates faster and focus on what matters.

What are you trying to achieve

I want to make handling notifications faster, cleaner, and less resource-intensive. Instead of wasting time opening dozens of tabs, users should be able to:
• Process updates in seconds using swipes.
• Keep only the important notifications marked for follow-up.
• Respond inline without breaking workflow.
• Avoid unnecessary strain on their computers when juggling large volumes of updates.

Ultimately, the goal is to save time, reduce frustration, and improve productivity for teams that rely heavily on Monday.com to manage complex projects.
