Within the Monday - JIRA sync, each field from JIRA can only be synced to a single column in Monday. It would be helpful to be able to sync the same field in JIRA to multiple columns in Monday. A limitation to make sure that the sync isn’t bidirectional where a single field maps to multiple columns could prevent the creation of an infinite loop syncing the data back and forth .
What are you trying to achieve
I have a use case where we are using Monday as our intake form for new feature requests. When syncing these to JIRA I might need to change the item name once it has been populated in JIRA. I don’t want this to change the name of the item in Monday, but I also want to be able to populate the new item name in Monday. Ideally I would do this by a one way sync from the Monday column “task name” to the JIRA “summary”, and another one way sync from the JIRA “summary” to a column in Monday called “JIRA name”
