Tracking board & Column Design

Hi Monday.com Community!!

We are designing an overall board that rolls up multiple boards into this main one.

The columns are listed below, and I need insight/advice on how best to design this.

  1. We want to see whether a project is stuck/ delayed/on track, currently we are using this formula using the baseline timeline and current timeline formula for the Progress column.

Current formula being used: IF({Baseline timeline} = “”, “”, IF({Baseline timeline} > {Current timeline}, “delayed”, “on track”))

HOWEVER - I am not sure how to set a baseline column date tracker vs current timeline but somehow we need to track the progress against each projects dates - any advice?

Additionally between the baseline timeline and the current timeline measuring the difference is something I would like to measure not sure how though?

Is there a more intuitive way to track if a project is running at delayed, on track or ahead based on the timeline that I may be missing?

Any other advice on how to best design the overall project tracker would be great
