Tracking hours to deadline and notified accordingly

Dear monday.com,

I represent Work Perfect, a monday.com enterprise partner for APAC. I am currently supporting a client build their monday.com solution.

One of their key requirements is to track time passed since a lead has arrived and notify the responsible sales lead to contact the lead in 24 hours. The client wants to be notified when:

  1. 6 hours have passed since the lead has arrived
  2. 12 hours have passed since the lead has arrived
  3. 18 hours have passed since the lead has arrived
  4. 22 hours have passed since the lead has arrived
  5. 24 hours have passed since the lead has arrived

I have unsuccessfully taken two approaches to solve this problem:

  1. Created a formula column to tell the hours passed since lead was created, but unable to use the formula column in automations for notifications. (e.g. 6 hours passed since lead creation from formula column, notify sales lead)

  2. Assign a next day deadline and notify sales people when deadline approaching. But even in the approach the lowest unit of measurement for tracking deadline is days not hours.

Could you advice if there is a solution or work around for this?

Looking for your support.

Regards,

Sha

Hi @Sha_WorkPerefectIn,
Renae here from Jt’s Cloud- the APAC partner of the year.
We actually build a lot of custom solutions in the monday.com platform, and this is something our developers could create for you.
Shoot me an email at renae@jtscloud.com and we can discuss further.
