Two-way sync between WorkDocs and board columns

Description

When items are used in a workdoc with {} feature allowing updates to be made directly from the WorkDoc.

What are you trying to achieve

We are using WorkDoc generated per item in a dedicated column.
A wordDoc template is linked to this column is autogenerated at creation of item or by manual click on column.
This workdoc allow us to summarise the work done on a task. We have some columns that we want to include in the document which is possible currently manually.
However, we would like to enhance this feature to be able to update the column directly from the workdoc to avoid back and forth from Board columns to Workdoc

Hi @Edith Could you use a board widget that just shows the status columns you want it to, and just filter it to the item on template creation?

Here is an example of doc using a template in an item column:

If I want to change the status or the target date for instance I have to go back to the board column and I cannot do it directy in the workdoc.

The aim is that the board columns for this item whereever I change it I the board columns or in the wordoc item values is synced.

Hope this clarifies my request.
