Since the recent Work Management update, text boxes have become difficult to populate, likely due to the new Text Wrap feature. Now, when typing into any text box in any column, progress is momentarily interrupted while Monday expands the box so the user can view an expanded version of their note.
This is great if you want to see all of what you’re typing, but incredibly frustrating if you are typing rapidly and don’t pause to grab your mouse, click inside the text field, and then resume your efforts. In addition, a paragraph can no longer be logged by pressing Enter. Instead, we have to again grab a mouse and click outside of the text field.
What are you trying to achieve
Monday.com should either streamline this process by once again allowing the user to type and save text boxes without having to use their mouse twice for each update, or simply revert back to the original format. This should be easy to achieve without sacrificing the text wrap feature.
