Many of boards use the permission setting “Edit content only in items assigned to then in the people column.” Our Sales Managers all have assistants and sometimes the Sales Manager will ask the assistant to make an update. The assistants have their own accounts but cannot edit content as it’s not assigned to them. We have a workaround for this in that we create Teams with each Sales Manager and their respective assistant but what would be really neat is if users to ‘inherit’ permissions from another user. E.g. the assistant also has permission to edit content assigned to their Sales Manager; the assistant could make updates ‘on behalf of’ the manager.
