For example, in my accounts profile, there are multiple views I can select across the top, “Overview | Updates | Files …”. When I hover over “Files” for example, the 3 dots appears over the word Files which is the dropdown menu for that board. However with those 3 dots showing, I only have a tiny clickable space to select “Files”, it’s basically only clickable over the letter F.
I can not resize those view buttons to make the larger. I have a lot of unused white space along the top after those few view buttons, I would like to stretch out those buttons so the clickable area is much larger.
Hello @RjBeals
I see what you’re describing. The view tabs at the top of a board are fixed in size and can’t be resized or stretched, even if there’s unused space. That behavior is currently part of the UI design.
A couple quick things you can try:
Zoom your browser in slightly to make the tabs easier to click
Switch between the desktop app and browser to see if the hover behavior feels smoother

Thank you for the reply - zooming indeed increases the whole page, but not really an ideal solution. I’m surprised nobody has requested this feature yet - seems like an easy fix, being able to resize the menu item, like you can an excel column. But anyway, It’s an annoyance and not a show stopper. I can live with it - thanks again for the quick reply Dr Sachar!
With the views as ‘tabs’, there’s no way to change it. Have you tried using the views as dropdowns instead? Can’t change size, but I find it easier to read. To do so, click on this arrow at top right of board.
That is helpful, thank you Desiree - But I was actually speaking of the profile (or what I call a profile). When you click on an account, you see more details. See screenshot below. See my cursor trying to click the “Files” menu - the only active clickable space is just the letter “F” because the 3 menu dots appear when I hover over it.
I don’t think there are any workarounds for this, except zooming my entire screen in, but that is not desired. But thank you very much for the tip above.
