Many design studios — including ours — are using monday.com as a client-facing CRM and product tracker. But two key features are missing compared to niche platforms like Gather, Programa, Studio Designer:
1. Web Clipper
Allow users to save product name, vendor, image, URL, and price from any website directly into a monday.com item. Similar to Pinterest, but structured for boards.
2. Visual PDF Export
Enable grouped export of product boards (with images, pricing, quantities, totals, etc.) into clean PDFs — ideal for client presentations, procurement sheets, and room-based schedules.
These features would make monday a viable all-in-one platform for interior designers, stylists, architects, and other visual professionals.
What are you trying to achieve
We’re trying to avoid using multiple external tools (like Gather, Studio Designer, or Google Docs automations) just to clip product data and export client-facing visuals.
Our goal is to stay entirely within monday — from sourcing to proposal to procurement — without needing external exports, formatting workarounds, or duplicate workflows.
