What type of files do you normally share?

Hey all

I’m adding new features to my app, SecureChat Pro, and I want to make sure I’m focusing on including the right file types for users.

SecureChat Pro is a fully end to end encrypted chat application for monday, and we’ve recently launched secure file sharing too :inbox_tray:

We’re covering

  1. PDFs
  2. Images (PNG, JPEG/ JPG, SVG, WEBP)
  3. Videos (MP4, webm)
  4. Audio files (mp3/ mpeg, wav, ogg, mp4)
  5. GIFs

Do you use anything else? Do you ever use iPhone photos (HEIC)? That would be super helpful for me to learn more about this community! Thank you so much in advance :slightly_smiling_face:

.heic files are a common photo extension used in our company because we run mainly on Apple devices.

Is this app support end to end encryptions?

That’s great to know! Do you use this app? If so, I can definitely add support for HEIC for you and roll that out in a few days  :rocket:

This app is fully encrypted and we have over 12 layers of security (ranging from only modern TLS and auto HTTPS upgrades, very specific data partitioning, auditing, Web Access Firewalls, and we recently partnered with Drata to work towards SOC 2 Compliance soon)
