Automatically update the working status in the user profile based on the Work schedule in Monday administration → General → Work schedule. When you are off in the work schedule, your working status will automatically change to ‘Out of Office’.

We built an Out of Office Assistant for monday that handles OOO coverage automatically.
What it does
Each user sets their OOO dates + backup once (Global setting)
On boards you choose: when the owner is OOO, the app posts a clear update
Optional auto-reassign to the backup (Hard mode)
If the backup isn’t a board subscriber (private board), it won’t reassign—it will only notify in updates
Optional @mention auto-reply with rate-limiting
