Hi Monday.com community!

We’re exploring the idea of building a new app for Monday.com: a Dynamic Approval Flow Builder.

Here’s the vision:

Admins create approval flows (like “purchase approvals,” “leave requests,” etc.) for any board.

They select which items and columns should trigger an approval request.

Set custom conditions (e.g., only show the “Request Approval” button for items with “Status = Pending” and “Amount > ₹10,000”).

The button appears automatically when items meet those criteria—no manual setup needed per item.

Approvers get notified, can approve/reject from Monday, and the app auto-tracks the whole process.

Interesting idea! From what I know, monday’s new Workflow Builder already supports conditional approvals and notifications (like triggering approval requests when status = pending and amount > ₹10,000).

However, it’s currently available only for Pro and Enterprise plans.

Maybe your app could take it a step further, like adding a visual “Request Approval” button or a centralized approval dashboard to track all approvals.
