Build Resource Database

I work for a college and we are trying to match faculty with an office space based on available office spaces on their campus. I have an Available Room Directory board with all the room numbers separated by campus, where each campus is a group. I have another board with the faculty members and all the information we need to track about them, including what room they’re in. Those 2 boards are connected.

When I have assigned a room, the room is automatically marked as Assigned on the directory board. When I enter a new faculty member and go to the Assigned Room column, I would like that list to only show rooms with status Available on the Directory board. On the screenshot, I have already assigned C270 but if I try to assign a room to the next faculty member, C270 is still on the list. I would like it to not show up. Any ideas?
