CRM: Moving Activities from board to board when an item is moved

I have set a workflow to move an item from board to board in CRM, and all my data is moving except the activity attached to the item. THe activity is connected to the activities board - but it's not transferring over. Is there a way or a work around to do this? I have the connected board column mapped to each other in the workflow - but the activity isn't moving with the item.
