Dynamic dropdown

Hello,
I need to set dynamic dropdown column that will depend on other column. As an example, I’ve got Category column(dropdown: Fruits, Berries, Veggies) and Sub-category column. I want sub category dropdown options customised based on Category. If Fruit is chosen in Category column, then apple, pear and peach should be available options in Sub Category column.
Is this something available? Found a thread from 2021 that says it’s not possible, thought will check again in case anything changed in the last years.
