Hi everyone!
I recently published Mind Map View on the monday.com Marketplace — it's a board view that displays your Groups, Items, and Subitems as an interactive mind map, directly inside your board.
I'd love to get feedback from real users on what works well and what could be improved.
How it works in practice:
Add the view to any board — your existing data appears as a mind map instantly
Everything stays in sync both ways: rename a node in the map → it updates on your board. Add an item on your board → it shows up in the map. No "Refresh" button needed.
Create new groups, items, or subitems directly from the map
Assign people from the map
Search across your map
Move items between groups by drag & drop
Copy/paste entire branches to duplicate structures quickly
Use cases I've seen so far:
Project planning — break down deliverables visually, then track them on the board
Brainstorming — quickly add ideas as nodes, reorganize them, then assign owners
Onboarding — give new team members a visual overview of a board's structure
Scope mapping — see the full hierarchy of a project at a glance
A few questions for you:
What would make you actually use a mind map view regularly on your boards?
Is there a specific workflow where you feel a visual/hierarchical view is missing today?
There's a free tier if you want to try it out and share your impressions.
Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts — always great to hear how others approach this!
