How to get item name to update between connected/mirrored boards

We have an automation in one board that when an item is created it creates a new item with the same name in another board. The boards are two-way connected and I built the automation with a two-way connection as well. This works as expected. The problem is, occasionally we have to adjust the item name and this editing of the item name doesn’t carry over between boards. Any solutions for how to get the item name to update across boards when changed in one board? I thought this worked with other mirrored columns but can’t figure out how to make it work when it’s the very first “item” column. Thanks in advance for any ideas!
