Hi everyone, I’m looking for a way to selectively log emails to Monday.com without compromising privacy.
The Scenario:
Our team does not want to enable the “Log all outgoing/incoming emails” feature because many of our emails are private. To maintain control, I’ve opted to use the BCC to Monday address method for specific items.
The Problem:
When I respond to an existing email thread and BCC the Monday address, only my specific response is logged to the timeline. I lose the entire preceding conversation (the “thread history”), making the log entry contextless and difficult for the rest of the team to follow.
The Goal:
I want to selectively log an email and include the previous thread history, without having to log every single email that passes through my inbox.
Questions:
Is there a way to “force” the BCC method to capture the thread history?
How are other privacy-conscious teams handling this?
