How to Structure Image Alt Text for Better SEO on Art Websites?

Hey guys,

I’ve been working on optimizing my art website for SEO and came across the importance of alt text for images. I know it helps with accessibility and search rankings, but I’m not sure about the best way to structure it.

Should alt text be purely descriptive, or is it better to include keywords? How do you balance being informative without sounding spammy? Also, does the length of the alt text matter?

If anyone has experience optimizing art portfolios or gallery websites for search engines, I’d love to hear your insights. Any tips or examples of well-structured alt text would be really helpful!
