We’re currently working with a client who has a very clear requirement: they need Portfolio functionality within monday dev.
Here’s the situation:

Portfolio solution is officially available in Work Management (Enterprise).

We can create a Portfolio there.

After creation, we can use “Move to monday dev”, and the Portfolio board is successfully migrated and functions inside monday dev.

In addition, monday dev now supports Agile projects that can be added into Portfolio.
However, in monday dev there is no option to create a new Portfolio directly from the UI.
So our questions are:

Is this expected behavior or a temporary limitation?

Is moving Portfolio from Work Management to monday dev an officially supported workflow, or just a workaround?

Can this setup be considered stable and safe to implement for Enterprise clients?

Is there a roadmap for native Portfolio creation directly inside monday dev?
We want to make sure we’re advising the client correctly and not relying on something that might be considered a beta feature or unintended behavior.
Any clarification from the product team would be greatly appreciated.
