I’m working for a company focused on events. We’re considering switching from Smartsheet to Monday, but we’re struggling to organize our board so that specific people can only view and edit the columns relevant to them.
Our workflow is essentially: Production department → Art Department → Production Department → Finance Department.
We collaborate with multiple producers and designers, and we’d like to give each of them access only to their relevant view, with the ability to edit certain columns.
I’ve explored board permissions, but I can’t find a way to hide views for specific users or allow editing of certain columns when sharing a view. Instead, it always displays the message: “You can only view this board.”
