I’m looking to see if anyone has built something similar in monday.com for managing equipment certifications and certification tracking.
We are a rigging company, and we are trying to create a system where we can track customer assets, inspection records, test/proof load information, certification dates, expiration dates, and related documents/PDF certificates.
Ideally, we would like the setup to include:
A customer asset board
A certification or inspection record board linked to each asset
Automated certificate numbers or unique IDs
Due date/expiration tracking with alerts
The ability to generate or attach PDF certificates
A customer-facing view or portal where each customer can only see their own assets and certificates
We are currently trying to avoid entering the same information multiple times and would like the data to flow from the asset record into the certificate/tracking process.
Has anyone created a board structure, workflow, dashboard, or customer portal setup like this? I’d appreciate any examples, screenshots, templates, or advice on the best way to build it.
I’m mainly trying to figure out the best board structure before we build too much and have to redo it later.
