Two Way Connection

Board 1 has three columns, each connected to Board 2, which houses all contact information. The use case is to associate different types of contacts (e.g., Engineer, Sales, Operations) with a specific project on Board 1. Each contact in Board 2 is labeled by their role.

• Column 1 on Board 1 is set up with a two-way connection to Board 2, and it functions correctly—when a contact is linked, the related project appears on that contact’s connected boards column in Board 2.
• However, when I use Column 2 or Column 3 on Board 1 to link other contacts from Board 2, the project does not show up in those contacts’ connected boards column on Board 2.

Has anyone dealt with a case like this before?
