Unable to see boards in a workspace

I am an owner (blue crown) in an open workspace (no red pad lock). However I am still unable to see all the boards within that workspace. My collegue has access and the only way we have figured out how to fix this is to go to each board and manually change my permission. There are too many boards - is there an easy way that I can access all the boards at once?
